Gas prices in New Mexico are up $0.062 cents per gallon from a month ago and $1.05 higher than this time last year, according to GasPrices.AAA.com.
New Mexico is still better off than most states and is currently paying 7.3 cents less per gallon than the national average. New Mexico gas prices averaged 4.4 cents less per gallon than the national average last week and 5.6 cents the week before.
