A new poll out of Morning Consult placed New Mexico in familiar territory: at the bottom of the pack.
But this time the bad news it’s about our last-place education ranking, worst places to retire, or most dangerous places to live. In fact, it’s actually good news for Republicans hoping to retake the executive seat this November.
According to the poll, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) is one of the least popular governor’s in the nation. Her approval rating–48% approve, 45% do not–is 44th worst in America.
Of the top ten most popular governors in America, all are Republican. Fl. Gov. Ron Desantis ranks 22nd.
